Big Relief for Students as Colleges Relax Uniform Rules Amid Cold Wave

In a major relief for students amid the ongoing cold wave, the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) Colleges has issued a notification allowing flexibility in college uniforms due to severe winter conditions.

According to the notification, students are now permitted to wear sweaters, coats, jackets, caps, and socks of any color while attending classes. The decision aims to protect students from extreme cold and ensure uninterrupted academic activities.

Uniform Relaxation Valid Till February 28

Officials confirmed that the relaxation in uniform rules will remain effective until February 28. College administrations have been instructed to ensure compliance and not penalize students for wearing winter clothing outside the standard uniform guidelines.

Students have welcomed the move, calling it a much-needed relief, especially during early morning classes when temperatures drop significantly.
