The federal government has officially launched the nomination process for Pakistan Civil Awards 2026, inviting recommendations from across the country to recognize individuals who have rendered outstanding services to Pakistan.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, nominations will be accepted until April 15, 2026. Formal letters have been dispatched to the heads of all federal ministries, divisions, and attached departments, requesting them to submit suitable nominations within the given timeframe.

To ensure inclusive representation, the Cabinet Division has also contacted provincial chief secretaries, urging them to forward nominations from their respective provinces. Officials said the aim is to identify deserving individuals from all regions and sectors of the country.
Awards Announced on August 14, Ceremony on March 23
The Cabinet Division clarified that Pakistan Civil Awards are announced annually on August 14, marking Independence Day, while the award distribution ceremony is held on March 23, Pakistan Day.
These awards are among the country’s highest civilian honors and are conferred to acknowledge exceptional achievements and services in various fields.

Officials confirmed that the awards are not limited to Pakistani citizens alone. Foreign nationals who have made remarkable contributions to Pakistan are also eligible for consideration.

Authorities stressed that the nomination and selection process will be conducted strictly on merit, ensuring transparency and fairness. The government has encouraged institutions to nominate individuals whose work has made a lasting and positive impact on society and the country.
