Flying cars, once considered pure science fiction, are now on the verge of becoming a reality. However, the price tag attached to this futuristic vehicle is likely to shock potential buyers.
The world’s first flying car, Alef Model A, has officially entered the production phase, according to international media reports. The vehicle is being developed by US-based company Alef Aeronautics, which says deliveries could begin in early 2026.

The starting price of the flying car has been set at $300,000, making it a premium product that will initially be available only to selected customers.
What makes the Alef Model A unique is its dual capability. If users choose not to fly, the vehicle can land and be driven on roads like a conventional car — a feature that feels straight out of a James Bond movie.
Alef Aeronautics revealed that demand for the flying car is rising rapidly, with more than 3,500 pre-orders already received. The company is manufacturing the vehicle at its Silicon Valley facility.
According to the company, the Alef Model A is a fully electric vehicle capable of vertical takeoff and landing, making it suitable for urban environments and a potential solution to heavy traffic congestion.
With production underway, flying cars are no longer a distant dream — but a luxury innovation that comes at a very high cost.
