Gold Prices Crash in Pakistan, Drop by Thousands in a Single Day

Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline in Pakistan on Wednesday, offering significant relief to buyers as rates dropped by thousands of rupees in a single day.

According to local bullion markets, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 1,200, bringing it down to Rs 466,762. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs 1,028 to Rs 400,173.

Latest Gold Rates in Pakistan

As per the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the updated rates are:

  • 24 Karat Gold (1 Tola): Rs 466,762

  • 24 Karat Gold (10 Grams): Rs 400,173

  • 22 Karat Gold (10 Grams): Rs 365,896 (down by Rs 942)

The association confirmed that the decline reflects ongoing volatility in both global and local bullion markets.

Silver Prices Remain Unchanged

Unlike gold, silver prices remained stable in the local market:

  • Silver (1 Tola): Rs 8,361

  • Silver (10 Grams): Rs 7,168

Traders said silver prices showed no movement during the session, maintaining previous levels.
