Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp weekly increase, rising by Rs. 8,600 per tola during the past week.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of one tola of gold closed at Rs. 481,862, compared to Rs. 473,262 at the end of last week.

Reason Behind the Price Surge
The association stated that the increase in local gold prices was driven primarily by a rise in international rates.
During the current week, gold in the global market traded at $4,595 per ounce, compared to $4,509 per ounce last week.

Silver prices also witnessed a significant jump:
