Gold prices witnessed another sharp increase across Pakistan today, pushing rates to a new all-time high and adding further pressure on buyers.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 3,400, taking the new rate to Rs. 469,562 per tola.

On the international bullion market, gold prices also climbed sharply, with an increase of $34 per ounce, bringing the global rate to $4,472 per ounce.
Market analysts say rising global uncertainty and strong international demand are key factors behind the continuous surge in gold prices. The sharp increase has raised concerns among consumers, especially those planning weddings or investments in precious metals.
