The final decision will be taken in a special committee meeting chaired by the Sindh Home Minister, scheduled to be held next week. Following approval, an official notification will be issued.
Officials confirmed that recommendations regarding e-challan penalties were initially sought during a special committee meeting held on December 23, after growing public concern over high fines.
If approved, the move is expected to provide significant relief to motorists, particularly daily commuters, while maintaining traffic discipline across the province.
