KP Schools Change Timings Amid Severe Cold Wave in Plains

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has announced changes to school timings due to a severe cold wave affecting the province’s plains areas.

According to an official notification from the KP Education Department, school hours will be adjusted starting January 16, following the winter holidays.

• Primary schools in plains areas will now operate from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM

• Middle, high, and higher secondary schools will have timings from 9:00 AM to 2:20 PM

The decision aims to protect students from extreme winter conditions while ensuring minimal disruption to academic schedules.
