Unlike the one-time 8070 Ramzan Relief Package, this initiative functions as a permanent digital wallet for staples such as flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, and rice.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply

To qualify for the 2026 Ration Card, families must meet the following standards:

Income Limit: Monthly household income below Rs. 50,000.
Poverty Score (PMT): PSER score below 35.
Residency: Valid Punjab Domicile and CNIC.
Exclusions: Government employees and families owning registered four-wheel vehicles (tractors/cars) are generally ineligible.
Automatic Entry: Families already receiving BISP Kafaalat are prioritized or automatically verified.

How to Register: Step-by-Step

Step 1: PSER Online Registration

Visit pser.punjab.gov.pk.
Create an account using the CNIC of the Head of Household.
Complete the detailed survey (family members, income, assets).
Submit and save your Reference Number.

Step 2: SMS Verification

Send your 13-digit CNIC (no dashes) to 8070.
You will receive a status update about your eligibility.

Step 3: Card Collection & Activation

Approved applicants receive an SMS from 8070 or Bank of Punjab (BOP).
Collect the physical Smart Card at a designated BOP branch or e-Khidmat Markaz.
Complete biometric activation to start receiving the monthly subsidy.

How to Use the Ration Card

Digital Voucher: Rs. 3,000 is credited monthly.
Redemption: Use at any Utility Store or registered PARYAN/Karyana Merchant across Punjab.
Biometric Verification: Provide your thumbprint at the store to authorize transactions.
Balance: Unused balance usually does not carry over; use within 30 days.
