The Punjab Government has announced a major relief package for low-income families earning less than 45,000 PKR per month during Ramadan 2026.
The initiative, named the “Nighban Ramadan Package”, is worth 47 billion PKR and is expected to benefit over 4.2 million people across the province.

Families earning less than 45,000 PKR will receive financial relief.

10,000 PKR will be distributed under the Ration Card program by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Ramadan Easement Bazaars will be set up five days before Ramadan to provide essential items at subsidized rates.

Authorities will strictly monitor markets to prevent hoarding and price manipulation.

Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari said the program aims to support vulnerable families and ensure that they can celebrate Ramadan without financial stress.
The initiative also focuses on transparent distribution and fair access for all eligible beneficiaries.
