Government of Punjab Accelerates Nigehban Card Arrangements

Ahead of Ramadan, the Government of Punjab has directed authorities to speed up the distribution process of the Nigehban Card to ensure timely relief for deserving families.

The Chief Minister’s Office has sought detailed information about camp sites established across districts for card distribution. Deputy Commissioners have been instructed to immediately provide site details.

Coordination with Bank of Punjab

Sources say that locations of Nigehban card camps will be shared with the Bank of Punjab to streamline the delivery process. Once sites are finalized, district administrations will begin public distribution.

Timely Schedule for Card Delivery

The government has emphasized that both dispatch and collection schedules must be completed on time so that beneficiaries can receive assistance before Ramadan begins.

PSER Staff to Assist at Camps

Staff from the PSER system will also participate in camp operations to facilitate citizens and manage data processes efficiently.

Helpline and Call Center Activation

A dedicated Nigehban Card helpline and call center are targeted to become operational by February 15, aimed at guiding citizens and handling queries.
