According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department, February 5 has been declared a public holiday on account of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Additionally, February 6 was announced as a holiday for Basant celebrations, creating an extended break.

Reacting to the announcement, Muzzammil Aslam made a sarcastic comment, saying authorities should also issue a notification when schools actually open, suggesting that holidays are becoming frequent.
