The ICC Under-19 ODI World Cup 2026 officially gets underway today, Thursday, January 15, with Pakistan and India placed in separate groups, meaning the two arch-rivals will not face each other in the league stage.

This Under-19 World Cup is the first of three ICC World Cups scheduled this year, making it a major event on the global cricket calendar.

The 16th edition of the ICC Under-19 World Cup will be played from January 15 to February 6, 2026, jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia.

A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament, divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the next round.
