On the directives of Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, the Sindh Education Department has officially digitalized the traditional teacher transfer system. According to the department, the E-Transfer System will become fully operational from January 15, allowing teachers to apply for transfers online and track their application status from home.

Officials stated that the digital system will be expanded in phases to ensure smooth implementation and effective results. In the first phase, the system will cover teachers only, while all other education department employees will be included in later stages.

The new system aims to save time, reduce costs, and eliminate administrative hurdles that teachers previously faced during the transfer process. With the introduction of online applications, teachers will no longer need to visit offices repeatedly or rely on intermediaries.

Speaking on the initiative, Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah said that modern technology will enhance transparency in education administration. He added that the E-Transfer System will play a key role in eliminating favoritism, delays, and undue influence in teacher transfers.

It is worth noting that the Sindh School Education Department currently employs 133,547 teachers, including 105,258 primary school teachers and 28,289 junior elementary teachers across the province.
