Dongfeng Motor Pakistan has officially confirmed the launch date of the Dongfeng Vigo EV, marking a major step forward in the company’s electric vehicle expansion in the local market.
Also known internationally as the Nammi 06, the compact electric SUV is scheduled to make its Pakistan debut on January 15, 2026. With this launch, Dongfeng will formally enter Pakistan’s rapidly growing electric crossover and SUV segment.

The Vigo EV has been developed by China’s Dongfeng Motor as a fully electric compact SUV designed for urban mobility and family use. Its introduction signals the brand’s intent to move beyond sedans and hatchbacks and capture demand in the SUV category, which continues to dominate Pakistan’s auto market.
Dongfeng’s local partner, Chawla Green Motors, has already launched the Dongfeng Box EV hatchback and the Dongfeng 007 EV sedan in Pakistan. With the addition of the Vigo EV, the company will now offer electric vehicles across multiple segments, strengthening its footprint in the EV space.
