Petrol and Diesel Prices Expected to Drop in Pakistan from 16 January

Sources indicate that petrol prices in Pakistan may see another significant reduction starting 16 January 2026, following a decrease in global petroleum product prices.

Earlier, on 1 January 2026, petrol prices had dropped by PKR 10.28 per liter and diesel by PKR 8.57 per liter, offering relief to consumers.

According to the latest forecast, from 16 January 2026:

• Petrol: Expected to decrease by PKR 4.59 per liter

• Diesel: Expected to decrease by PKR 2.70 per liter

• Kerosene Oil: Expected to decrease by PKR 1.82 per liter

• Light Diesel Oil (LDO): Expected to decrease by PKR 2.08 per liter

The final prices will be announced after approval from the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
