Pakistan Women’s Squad Announced for South Africa Tour

The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team has been announced for the upcoming tour of South Africa, which will begin on February 10. The tour is part of Pakistan’s preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Fatima Sana will continue to lead the side in both T20I and ODI formats, according to the official announcement.

🏏 New Faces and Squad Changes

The selectors have included Saira Jabeen and Hamna Bilal in the national squad for the first time, marking their maiden call-ups.

Several experienced players have also made a return to the ODI squad, including:

Gull Feroza
Tasmia Rubab
Najiha Alvi

Meanwhile, Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu, and Aliya Riaz have been named in both formats.

🏋️‍♀️ Training Camp in Karachi

As part of pre-series preparations, a training camp will be held from February 1 to February 6 at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre, Karachi.

🗓️ Series Schedule and Venues

All T20I matches will be played as day-night fixtures
T20Is will be hosted in Potchefstroom, Benoni, and Kimberley
A 50-over warm-up match will be played in Kimberley before the ODI series
ODI matches will be held in Bloemfontein, Centurion, and Durban
The second ODI will be a day-night match

This will be Pakistan Women’s first bilateral tour of South Africa since 2021, although the team last visited the country during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.
