The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new convenience for citizens by introducing CNIC-related services at selected e-Sahulat franchises across the country.

Under this initiative, citizens can now access identity document services and CNIC renewal facilities at designated e-Sahulat outlets, making the process faster and more accessible.

What Services Are Available at e-Sahulat Franchises?

Responding to public queries, NADRA spokesperson Shibahat Ali Syed explained that the authority has taken this step to improve service delivery and reduce congestion at NADRA registration centers.

He noted that while events such as marriages, divorces, births, and deaths are increasing, their official registration remains low. To address this gap, NADRA has signed an agreement with Radio Pakistan to raise public awareness about the importance of registering life events.

Focus on High-Density Urban Areas

The spokesperson highlighted that Karachi, due to its massive population, continues to face heavy crowds at NADRA centers despite the opening of multiple facilities.

“To manage the growing rush, NADRA has started offering services at selected shops in specific localities under the e-Sahulat model,” he said.

However, he clarified that personal data modifications will not be allowed at these mini centers.

Faster CNIC Access Through Mini Centers

These neighborhood-based e-Sahulat mini centers, located in markets and residential areas, will allow citizens to apply for and receive CNIC-related services more quickly, easing pressure on main NADRA offices.
