Strict Legal Action Against Violators
The district administration warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the ban. Law enforcement agencies have been directed to closely monitor fuel stations, roadside vendors, and retail outlets to ensure full compliance.
Reason Behind the Decision
Officials stated that selling petrol in bottles poses serious safety risks, particularly in densely populated areas. Improper handling and storage of fuel have been linked to fires and explosions, prompting authorities to take preventive measures.
The administration emphasized that the restriction is aimed at ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order in the district.
