Verification and Digital Balloting

The Agriculture Department will verify all land ownership records and applicant credentials via revenue records and field inspections.
Successful applicants will be selected through a digital balloting process to ensure transparency.

Application and Tractor Selection

Selected farmers must deposit Rs. 500,000 as their share, along with registration, card, transaction, and number plate fees, within the timeframe mentioned in the allotment letter.

Eligible tractors must have 50 to 65 horsepower. The tractor will remain registered in the applicant’s name for at least three years, and selling it during this period is strictly prohibited. Authorities may withdraw the subsidy or reject applications if discrepancies are found during verification.

The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s strategy to modernize agriculture, improve productivity, and support farmers with subsidized mechanization tools.
