Following a reduction in diesel prices, the Transport Department has officially issued a new fare notification for public transport services, providing partial relief to daily commuters across the region.
Officials confirmed that students, special persons, and passengers aged 60 years and above will continue to receive a 50 percent concession on approved fares, ensuring affordability for vulnerable groups.
